Spring at the Lido: experiences to try

Travel tips

The emotion of a day on the boat and the freedom of a bicycle tour.

Together with Destination Venice you can enjoy our islands by booking one of the organized tours that will allow you to get to know them from a different point of view.

Venice Lido bike tour
Venice Lido, with its cycle paths and roads with little traffic, can be visited by bicycle both on the lagoon side and on the Adriatic side. With this two-hour tour, that starts from the square of Santa Maria Elisabetta, you will be able to see and listen to the history of the most important places and events on the Lido (from the Art Nouveau villas to the International Film Festival).

More information on the bike tour at this link.

The island of Pellestrina by boat
If the most famous colors and laces of our lagoon are those of Burano, in the small and tenacious island of Pellestrina there are equally colored houses, and the tradition of lace is preserved also in its small villages.

To discover the wonders of this island, Destination Venice has organized six-hour tours in vintage motorboats that, starting from Venice, will take you along the Lido, with the village of Malamocco and the port of Alberoni, will arrive in Pellestrina and the naturalistic oasis of Ca’ Roman and, as a last stop, will allow you to see the city of Chioggia.
