Lido riding club

The Circolo Ippico Venezia Lido riding club is a facility that was inaugurated by the CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee) in 1960, and then handed over to the municipality of Venice.
Today, the facility, which boasts no less than 30 horses and around 140 members of all ages, manages to support an ASD riding school, dressage, full competition and pony club with FISE and SEF Italia affiliates and qualified federal instructors.
It also specialises in hippotherapy, a very useful tool for improving people’s quality of life. The club provides an after-school “gallop” for children of all ages.
Over the years, the club has established numerous collaborations with the university, military barracks, local associations and, above all, the municipality of Venice. Thanks to these, club president Roberto Teso announced that the facility is being expanded with the construction of new boxes and marquees in addition to the existing ones.
It is worth mentioning that in May 2022, the Lido riding club will host the International Polo Tournament, with several teams from Dubai.
