David Wagner presents Verkin at Villa Pannonia

Until October 14, the Proloco of Lido di Venezia and Pellestrina brings to life the fourth edition of the Lido Incontra project, the biennial event that aims to deepen the relationships woven by Venice with other cultures, trying to understand their history and studying the ways in which they have come into direct contact with the city.

In 2024, the focus is on the relationship with Germany and German culture, explored through a rich program of events that are not limited to a single field: starting from literature, moving on to architecture, and even arriving at culinary recipes.

On September 25 at 5:00 PM, the Berlin writer David Wagner presents Verkin, his latest novel, from which he will also read a few passages. The event will be held in German, with simultaneous translation into Italian, introduced by Richard Erkens and moderated by Petra Schaefer.
